Saturday April 5,2014 : GERMAN ACE RIDING THE CREST OF A HIGH STAKES POKER WAVE

Online poker maven Heinecker earns over three quarters of a million dollars in 48 hours.

Top German online high stakes poker player Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker enjoyed a profitable 48 hours this week on the nosebleed tables at Full Tilt Poker, seeing off some of the best players around to end a 48-hour period $754,750 in profit, according to a report on the High Stakes Data Base site.

Already last year's most prolific winner with earnings of $6,190,599 over 65,577 hands, Heinecker has generally been doing well – albeit with a few dips – in 2014, and earlier this week clashed with high calibre internet pros like Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, Gus Hansen, Kagome Kagome and Patrik "FinddaGrind" Antonius, mainly on the $2,000/$4,000 triple draw tables.

Heinecker didn't stop there; following his epic 48-hour blitz he returned on a third day to win a further $514,000, bring his total haul for three days of nosebleed action to over $1.4 million

This time Heinecker beat Phil "Polarizing" Ivey heads-up in a 78 minute session, winning $115,000. His second big score was a $332,900 three-hour win against a persistent Ivey – who dropped a further $194,000 – with other "contributing" players including PostflopAction, samrostan, Gus Hansen, thecortster, and Isildur1.
