Historic weekend at Americas CardRoom

We are coming off a truly historic weekend here at Americas CardRoom. Much thanks goes to the staff for its outstanding preparations, but it couldn’t be done without the world’s best and more loyal player base.

ACR ran two $1,000,000 guaranteed tournaments last Sunday for the first time in their history; a $2,100 high roller for the BOSS Main Event and a $540 buy-in Million Dollar Sunday. They were both on the last day of the $14 Million OSS Cub3d.

The BOSS Main Event had 562 total entries for a $1,124,000 prize pool, with player “omaha4rollzz” ($224,800) coming in first. The Million Dollar Sunday had 2,385 entrants for a $1,192,500 prize pool. Player “anythingdk” was the winner of that one, taking home $238,500 and an engraved sterling silver bracelet.

ACR also had more excitement on Sunday as they hosted the biggest cash game in the world that day. This clearly shows that big tournament action leads to big cash games.

What is ACR doing for an encore? They are already looking ahead to 2018 and have some major news as we will host a Million Dollar Sunday during each of the first 12 weeks of the year!
