Alternative travel arrangements For ICE Show

I.C.E. SHOW TRANSPORTATION CHANGE

Custom House station closure means alternative travel arrangements.

Clarion, the organisers of the internationally popular annual ICE Totally Gaming expo at the Excel Centre in London, have advised that the nearest Docklands Light Rail station to the venue, Customs House, will be closed for renovations at the time of the show this year, but that alternate transport arrangements are in place.

Delegates and visitors should now alight the DLR trains at the stop before Customs House – Royal Victoria – where a fleet of coaches will be available to carry them the remaining 650 metres to the show.

An advisory from Clarion explained that the company has made provision in its budgets to provide free transportation and appoint a team, led by ICE event director Greg Saint, which will be responsible for organising the logistics and for communicating the changes "to our loyal community of visitors throughout the world".

The changes being carried out by the London Transport authorities will in the long term make ICE more easily accessible; once completed, visitors flying into Heathrow airport will be able to use the new Elizabeth Line to get to the show venue from the airport in less than 45 minutes, Clarion says.
