The speed poker sector is getting increasingly competitive
 
Per Hildebrand's InstaDeal speed poker network has been granted a licence by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission, positioning it favourably in the burgeoning speed poker segment.
 
Introduced by Full Tilt Poker under the brand Rush Poker, the concept of switching tables on folding or completing a hand, thus speeding up the games, found immediate favour and is now being taken up by a growing number of competitors, despite threats by the now-beleaguered Full Tilt that it would claim and defend a patent.
 
Zoom Poker, recently launched by Pokerstars, has proved to be a great success, and Relax Gaming is about to launch Fast Poker on three top operator websites.
 
InstaDeal is likely to prove a tough competitor with its claims that a number of major sportsbook and mobile operators are interested in its product.
