Expands presence in Bulgarian market.

Greek gaming firm INTRALOT Group has acquired a 49 percent strategic stake in EuroBet, via its Bulgarian subsidiary, BILOT.

The acquisition expands INTRALOT’s already strong presence in the Bulgarian market through its 49 percent ownership of Eurofootball, who has offered fixed odds and live betting thorough a network of 850 shops, since 2002.

Antonios Kerastaris, INTRALOT Group chief executive commenting on the announcement, said: “This acquisition aligns with our business growth strategy to seal strategic partnerships with strong local players.

“Through synergies with Eurobet's assets we will be able to further boost our operations in Bulgaria and sustain our leading position in the area."
