Ipoker Still Available in Belgium

Launch of Ladbrokes.be site includes iPoker action.
 
Playtech may have departed the ring-fenced Belgian online gambling market in a general sense, but its iPoker product apparently remains accessible to Belgian punters through the newly launched Ladbrokes.be website.
 
Licensed by the Belgian Gaming Commission, the Playtech-powered site is in partnership with the Middelkerke Casino-Kursaal NV, one of nine land based casinos in the European country. A third company, Derby SA, is mentioned in the licensing documentation with this declaration:
 
"The Belgian Gaming Commission, an institution responding to the Federal Department of Justice, has granted licences to Derby S.A. for organising and running bets (granted on 2 February 2011), as well as for organising and running bets through information society tools (granted on 02 April 2014, licence number FA+126426).
 
"Derby has established a partnership with Middelkerke Casino-Kursaal NV (Mikas) for offering and running online casino games on the website www.ladbrokes.be. The Gaming Commission has granted an A+ Licence to Mikas (A+8107, granted on 02 April 2014) to run games of chance by means of information society tools."
