ITALIAN GAMBLING NUMBERS KEEP RISING

Thursday, September 29, 2011 :  23.85 percent rise in eight months
 
Italian gambling regulator AAMS has reported on the nation’s 8-month total gaming wagers, which at Euro 48.3 billion are up 23.85 percent.
 
August wagers totaled Euro 6.418 billion.
 
At the previously reported seven month mark, AAMS said that wagers for the year were up by 21.45 percent.
