Latest numbers from AAMS show year-on-year increase in gambling
 
In a tantalisingly brief report Friday the Italian news agency ANSA published the latest statistics on Italian gambling from state regulator AAMS.
 
Italians spent more than three times as much gambling online in January compared to the same time last year, wagering Euro 1.5 billion on Internet betting, up from Euro 470 million in January 2010.
