IveyPoker Closes

Tuesday October 28,2014 : IVEY POKER FOLDS

Not a good year for world-famous poker pro.

Following his multi-million dollar litigation defeat against a major land casino that claimed he cheated at cards through edge-sorting  the world famous poker pro Phil Ivey has suffered an additional loss in having to close his Phil Ivey Poker.com coaching and social website.

Hints that a closure may be on the cards have been circulating in the industry after Ivey told his quality stable of professional associates that a shutdown may be necessary, presumably due to lack of business support from the players.

The site had been live for just on a year.

Ivey's new interest in the online sector is said to be a marketing deal with the Californian Pala tribe, which is associated with another well-known online poker name in former Bwin.Party co-CEO Jim Ryan.

Ryan now heads Pala Interactive, an online gambling joint venture with California’s Pala Band of Mission Indians hoping for legalization in California.
