Jack Gold Casino has ceased Operating

Wednesday September 10,2014 : LOCUS GAMING'S JACK GOLD CEASES TRADING

Customers invited to withdraw funds

Locus Gaming's Isle of Man-licenced Jack Gold Casino has ceased trading.  In a statement today (Wednesday), the operator said "it has ceased taking bets for the time being" but hopes to resolve the situation in the near future.

Head of Customer Acquisition and Casino Manager for Jack Gold Casino Mauro Orru addressed concerns in a post on the Ask Gamblers forum saying the company was no longer in a position to offer real money wagers and have begun the process of looking for new owners to take over the management of the casino.

Orru reassured players that all funds were ring-fenced as per Isle of Man licencing conditions.

Players have until 10 October 2014 to withdraw their real money balances or may request a withdrawal to their registered card between 11 October 2014 and 10 November 2014.

Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn and can no longer be converted into real money. Loyalty points are considered bonus funds so players will not be able to convert those into cash and withdraw them for the time being, the company informed.

Orru revealed that the company had applied for UK Gambling Commission licencing "We had applied for an operator licence with the UK Gambling Commission and submitted all relevant documentation way ahead of many other larger operators."

It appears the writing may have been on the wall for some time as Jack Gold Casino's Twitter and Facebook accounts went dead from June 2014.
