Jason Mo Wins Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul

Monday April 13,2015 :  AMERICAN POKER PRO MO TAKES DOWN A.P.P.T. SEOUL

Heads up tussle with Singapore ace Bryan Huang ends in a $151,000 victory.

US professional and mainly high stakes internet cash game player Jason Mo is $151,000 better off this week following his weekend victory in the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul after an entertaining heads up against Singapore pro Bryan Huang.

It was Mo's first major victory title although he can claim two previous WSOP final tables and the WPT National Philippines High Roller title.

The last day of APPT Seoul refined the survivors of the 241 original entrants to an international final table consisting of Huang and Mo, along with Daniel Demicki holding the chip lead, Celina Lin, Tyler Jennens, Vladimir Demenkov, Dong Kim, Daniel Kneafsey and Takuya Suzuki.

By the time the three-handed stage of play had been reached Mo had built an almost 6 to 1 lead over his remaining opponents, Huang and Daniel Demicki, and he quickly leveraged this advantage to dispatch Demicki, setting the scene for the heads up with Huang and extending his lead to 9 to 1.

Despite an heroic fight back by Huang the chip disparity was just too great and after an entertaining but fairly brief heads up Mo emerged the winner to collect the $151,000 main prize, leaving the runner up pay-day of $89,413 to his last opponent.
