KENYAN LOTTERY LAUNCHED BY AMAYA GAMING

Friday September 23, 2011 : Second lottery offering from the company in the African country

The Montreal-based online gambling group Amaya Gaming officially launched its Kwachu 6/48 Lottery in the Republic of Kenya this week, its second lottery offering in the African country this year.

Amaya expects the lottery will build on the brand awareness established in Kenya earlier this year with the operation of a 15-week Short Message Service (SMS) lottery campaign and has scheduled the first weekly jackpot draw for Saturday, September 24, 2011.

"We are very pleased to be able to expand our presence in Kenya with the launch of another public lottery," said David Baazov, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amaya Gaming Group.  "Our initial experience with an SMS lottery demonstrated that the people of Kenya are very receptive to this kind of offering."

The company showed impressive revenue growths of 275 percent over the same period 2010 in its recently released Quarterly results.
