Unibet Name Changed to Kindred Group plc

UNIBET NAME CHANGE TO KINDRED PLC APPROVED BY SHAREHOLDERS
 
December 12 2016 will be the first day of trading for Kindred Group plc.
 
Following an extraordinary general meeting at which shareholders approved the change of the Unibet title and brand to Kindred Group plc, the online gambling group will begin trading under the new name on December 12.
 
The name change has been the subject of much discussion and speculation since a proposal was published three months ago, with management explaining that a major change was necessary to unify the multifarious interests of Unibet as it has expanded over the years. Brands now within the group include iGame, Stan James, Bingo.com and MariaCasino, and Unibet will now join these as a legacy brand within the Kindred Group holding portfolio.
 
The name change will be followed soon by the publication of a new brand and corporate identity.
