Laurent Polito Wins World Poker Tour Paris

Online poker pro takes down Paris live tournament
 
The Euro 1,500 buy-in main event at the World Poker Tour Paris fell to French online and live tourney poker pro Laurent Polito after four brisk days of action last weekend.
 
Polito survived a field of 229 and a final table that comprised Stéphane Benadiba, Omar Lakhdari, Antoine Saout, Paul Fayngersh, Yossi Iffergan, Florent Estegassy and Damien Lhommeau at the Aviation Club in Paris to face Benadiba in the heads up.
 
Maintaining his chip lead, Polito despatched Benadiba to claim the main prize of Euro 270,000, leaving his opponent with a take-home of Euro 52,000.
 
Polito won the High Roller event at the European Poker Tour Barcelona last year.
