Legendz online sports betting Defendents Found Guilty

Three found guilty of racketeering conspiracy.
 
The break up of the Legendz online sports betting ring last year  had another sequel in an Oklahoma federal court this week when three men were found guilty on racketeering conspiracy, conducting an illegal gambling business and money laundering conspiracy charges.
 
Rodger Bramley, 73, of Plano, Texas; Kelley Diebner, 43, of Houston; and Leon Moran Jr. 54, of Kingsburg, Calif., were convicted of conspiring to run an international online and phone gambling service operating out of Panama City, Panama.
 
The court was told that the website, Legendz Sports, brought in more than $1 billion in illegal bets, almost exclusively from the United States.
 
Bramley and Diebner were Texas bookmakers who placed sporting bets and settled debts and Moran picked up and delivered cash to the bookies, according to Justice Department prosecutors.
 
Millions of dollars in cash and checks were transported from the United States to Panama with the checks made out to shell companies throughout Central America, they claimed.
 
A date for sentencing has not yet been set.
