Kory Koralewski and Kelly Dorn Convicted in Legendz Sportsbook case

The US Attorney's Office has issued a press release advising that on Thursday a federal jury in Oklahoma City convicted two individuals for their participation in a scheme involving illegal gambling.
 
Kelly Dorn (53) of Oklahoma City, and Kory Koralewski (45) of Parker, Colorado, were found guilty of racketeering conspiracy. Dorn was additionally convicted of conducting an illegal gambling business. A sentencing hearing has not yet been set.
 
According to the trial evidence, from 2003 to 2013, Dorn and Koralewski conspired with others to operate Legendz Sports, an international criminal enterprise that ran Internet and telephone gambling services from Panama City.
 
Legendz Sports took more than $1 billon in illegal wagers, almost exclusively from gamblers in the United States betting on American sporting events . Dorn worked as a bookie in Oklahoma who illegally solicited and accepted sports wagers as well as settled gambling debts. Koralewski facilitated the movement of illegal gambling proceeds from the United States to Panama.
 
The case was investigated by the FBI and Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigations, with the assistance of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Marshals Service.
