Lotsys Gaming Lab, a subsidiary of French Lottery operator Francaise des Jeux, has launched a new game application designed for the FDJ's Loto game.

The app follows the successful launch of the Euro Millions App in July and gives players the ability to place a bet in just three clicks.  It also allows players to change the numbers on their grids without clicking, but by simply shaking their mobile device.

The app offers six different ways for players to play the Loto game and allows grids to be created offline.  Favourite grids can be saved and used to compare results of past draws.  Other functions include access to the last 10 Loto results, alert sign ups for the next jackpot and identification of the nearest point-of-sale.

“We have put the user experience at the centre of the app’s development”, said Renaud Dol, FDJ’s Head of Digital Content. “This partnership with Lotsys has made FDJ the first lottery with an iPad offer and the lottery with the best mobile game experience, thanks to all our native apps for iPhone, Android, iPad and Webapp.”

According to FDJ, 15 percent of its digital revenue is derived through the mobile and tablet channel and its apps are reported to be the most popular download in the m-commerce category in the French AppStore.

“Our main goal as a lottery industry supplier is to create solutions that meet our partners’ needs and expectations by combining top-notch technology and security with state-of-the-art ergonomics”, explained Laurent Chesnais, Lotsys General Manager. “I am pleased and proud to realize that we were once again able to successfully meet FDJ’s expectations.”
