Month-on-month, cash game poker revenue slides16 percent and tournament returns are 7 percent lower
 
Italian poker numbers remained a concern in June 2012, with both cash game and tournament revenues substantially lower than the in May, according to AAMS statistics.
 
Cash game poker revenues declined by a hefty 16.42 percent to Euro 15 million, whilst tournament revenues slipped by a more moderate but still worrying 7 percent to Euro 11.6 million.
 
The latest declines continue a trend apparent over the last few months, taking the numbers lower by double digit percentages.
 
Italian poker gross gaming revenue in June came in at Euro 26.6 million, only marginally up on the corresponding period in 2011 despite the introduction of ring games last July.
 
Pokerstars.it and Microgame continued to dominate the Italian online poker scene, with Pokerstars holding almost 30 percent of the market, and Microgame's Peoples Poker Network around 25.4 percent.
