$1.3 billion new Macau land casino Studio City

Melco Crown's $1.3 billion new Macau land casino Studio City will be a sight to behold, with a giant Golden Eye 130 metre tall ferris wheel built high up within the towering structure's facade, according to publicity pushed out by the developer.

Publicity material informs that the Golden Eye feature is inspired by "two asteroids shooting through a Gotham City building".

Other standout features of the Batman and Gotham City-themed complex include a 5,000 seat stadium and 30,000 sq ft mall; a virtual reality Batman ride and Wonder Woman go-karts; 1,600 Art Deco rooms; food halls and themed restaurants; a Pacha-branded nightclub and its own TV studio.

The fully operational TV studio, Studio 8, will include seating for 300 live audience guests invited to attend reality and game show productions with an Asian flavour.
