Six-figure deal covers the next two years.
 
Online bookie Marathonbet has announced another sponsorship with a UK football team after inking a two-year, six-figure agreement with Hibernian FC.
 
The sponsorship starts immediately, and Marathonbet has the option to extend the deal for a third year.
 
The online bookie has an interesting diversity of sponsorships that includes Fullham FC in Britain, and FC Dynamo Kiev in the Ukraine.
 
Graham Luke, CEO at Marathonbet, says the new deal is a good opportunity for his company to tighten its association with Scottish football.
 
"Hibs is a club famed for its history and its loyal and ardent fanbase," Luke said earlier this week.
 
“We join the club at a time of rebuilding that also sees the introduction of a new chief executive and head coach and these appointments underline the ambition of the club going forward.
 
“These ambitions echo our own as we look to grow and expand into new territories and this agreement is a key vehicle in broadening the awareness of our brand and helping us reach our strategic goals.”
