Sportingbet has announced the appointment of Marie Stevens

Marie Stevens appointed a non-executive director
 
Online gambling group Sportingbet has announced the appointment of Marie Stevens as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
 
Stevens has extensive experience in the gaming industry, having spent 10 years within Ladbrokes, latterly as Head of the Group Legal department. Subsequent to this, she spent four years as a member of the Gaming Board for Great Britain and has also been a member of the International Association of Gaming Regulators.
 
She was non executive director and then chairman of 888 Holdings plc at the time of its IPO and is currently the chair of the Global Leaders in Law.
 
Peter Dicks, chairman of Sportingbet, said: "Marie brings experience and knowledge of the gaming industry in general, and of the legal and regulatory frameworks in a number of jurisdictions, including the US, and their respective licensing processes and requirements.
