Co-founder of PokerStars Makes Billionaires List

And listed 10th in Canada’s top 10 richest people 2015

A record 1,826 people with an aggregate net worth of $7.05 trillion have made the Forbes 2015 Billionaires list. 

Mark Scheinberg, co-founder of PokerStars, was listed 10th in Canada’s top 10 richest people 2015 list with a net worth of $4.1 Billion and 405th in the global Forbes 2015 Billionaires List

Scheinberg joins heavy hitters Thomson Reuters owner David Thomson, the co-founder and chairman of car service Uber –  Garrett Camp, Alibaba’s Chinese-Canadian co-founder Joseph Tsai and Galen Weston of Loblaws.

This year’s Billionaires List included 290 newcomers of which 71 hail from China.  A record 46 billionaires under the age of 40 made the list, the youngest at 24 is Evan Spiegel, the co-founder of photo- messaging app Snapchat.
