Evolution Gaming has appointed Martin Carlesund as its new CEO

Martin Carlesund has extensive gaming industry experience.

Live dealer provider Evolution Gaming has appointed Martin Carlesund as its new CEO of Evolution Malta, the operational entity within the Evolution Group.

Carlesund has extensive experience within the gaming industry and was most recently CEO at HighLight Media Group Ltd, a major gaming affiliate firm. Previously, he was CEO of Eniro Sweden and Eniro Finland.

He will be a member of the Group management team, reporting to Evolution founder and Group CEO Jens von Bahr, who was also CEO of Evolution Malta.

Carlesund said Thursday that there were "fantastic" opportunities ahead for live dealer gambling due to strong market growth, and he looked forward to contributing to the company's future.

Jens von Bahr said that the appointment of a manager of Carlesund's ability would enable him to focus exclusively on building long-term shareholder value at group level.
