IS MetroPlay-666bet Ready To Pay

Sunday April 26,2015 : METROPLAY-666BET GEARING UP PAYMENTS SYSTEM

Owed players urged to set up Skrill accounts.

The MetroPlay-666Bet online casino, whose licence remains suspended pending the outcome of UK Gambling Commission enquiries into its suitability, appears to be at last making concrete moves toward getting its players paid.

A website notice Thursday advised owed players:

“In preparation for you being able to access your account and make a withdrawal can we ask that all customers who do not currently have a Skrill/Moneybookers account to please open one as soon as possible as this will be the only option open to customers in the near future.”

Players have become increasingly concerned and militant after several weeks when little action on the payment front or direct player communication was evident from the operator.

In the meantime the situation attracted widespread media comment as the operator and the Gambling Commission appeared to have different views on whether 666Bet had been allowed by its licence suspension to pay players.

Then more reportage indicated that 666Bet had a processor problem caused by the suspension of its operator licence, in response to which the Commission reiterated its position, issuing a statement that asserted:

“The Commission made it clear, when it suspended Metro Play Limited’s licence on 20 March, that it is authorised to settle any outstanding winning bets that it accepted in reliance on its operating licence and return any outstanding balances to customers – and we expect it to do so."

As players open Skrill accounts, the ball appears to be back in 666Bet's court, and players will be waiting anxiously for the next move by the company – hopefully payment of its obligations
