To their per head credit, the Heat have overcome adversity in the form of both Chris Bosh going down and Dwayne Wade dealing with injuries, as well as to a much lesser degree a pair of suspensions to Udonis Haslem and Dexter Pittman that kept them out of game six against the Indiana Pacers.
Wade bounced back and looked like a superstar in games five and six however after having his knee drained of fluid before the fifth game, and with Lebron James and him finding some strong chemistry Miami will be hard to stop.
Despite their relative youth, the physicality of their six-game series against the Indiana Pacers undoubtedly took its toll on the Heat both physically and mentally, so it’s a good thing that they got the extra rest while the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers went to a seventh game.
That rest, home court advantage, and overall talent will make the different for Miami as it takes game one of the Eastern conference final on Monday.
