Michael Byrne Leaves William Hill To Be a Consultant

William Hill plc's mobile gambling expert and head of its mobile gambling operations, Michael Byrne, has set up as a consultant in Gibraltar, having left the company earlier this month.
 
Graduating from London Guildhall with a BSc, Media and Communications, Byrne was appointed head of mobile at William Hill early in 2010 and was involved in the management and strategy of the division through many of its critical developments. William Hill increased revenue from mobile operations over 1000 percent during his tenure and is now one of the leading companies in the sector.
 
Prior to his mobile appointment he worked for the company in Israel from October 2008, carrying management responsibility for all WHO's internet casino products on Playtech software from inception to launch.
 
Earlier in his career he was sales manager at Wise Box/ Zero36 Mobile Casino; an account manager at SkySun and an account manager for a US internet start-up.
