Lotto moving into the digital space during its 40th Anniversary
 
Michigan Lottery Commissioner M. Scott Bowen said during a presentation at the Michigan Lottery's 40th birthday celebrations that the lottery will start an online sales service of its most popular games, through an internet subscription sales platform in April 2013.
 
Games included in the online strategy will initially include Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, Powerball and Classic Lotto 47.
 
"We are committed to ensuring that our operation is financially responsible, so that players do not have to worry about personal data being illegally accessed," said Bowen.
