Microgaming Badbeat Bonus hits with more than Euro 920,000 in the total pot
Having just re-launched the Bad Beat tables across the Microgaming network, one lucky ‘losing’ player at StanJames Poker,com took down the largest jackpot in the history of the Bad Beat tables this week, with over Euro 920,000 in the total pot.
The new format makes the jackpot easier to hit and that was certainly something seen by Stan James Poker regular, _TiltShove_ aka Peter.
At 8pm on 19th March, the highest ever online poker Bad Beat Jackpot win was taken down by family man Peter, who plays from Rochdale in the UK.
His straight flush was beaten on the turn by a higher hand but dismay soon turned to joy when Peter realised that by opting into the Bad Beat pot, his ‘losing’ hand had scooped a life-changing Euro 370,788.79.
Players seated at the same table as Peter were also paid out a total of Euro 47,134.16 each for opting in to the promotion.
Spare a thought though, for the winner of the hand, who was due a pay-out of Euro 185,394 but because he did not opt in for the badbeat, had to be content with just Euro 81.21 from the hand being played.
