Top British gambling group will use Microgaming’s casino and mobile content through Quickfire
The Isle of Man-based online gambling software provider Microgaming announced Tuesday that it has signed an agreement that will see top British online and land gambling group William Hill plc take Microgaming’s casino and mobile content through its Quickfire distribution channel.
William Hill is the UK’s leading online betting and gaming business and one of Europe’s largest online gaming operators. Its online offering comprises sports betting, casino, poker and bingo.
A company spokesman said the online gaming giant will benefit from Microgaming’s depth of content, first-class integration and robust technical infrastructure following implementation earlier this month.
James Curwen, director of gaming at William Hill, said: “The agreement with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, will provide our players with world-class gaming content. Microgaming’s expertise in the industry and its rapid development of new content will strengthen our position globally; we look forward to working with them closely.”
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, commented: “William Hill is a giant in the world of online gaming, highly recognisable and respectable. Naturally we are thrilled to include them on our list of customers. We are confident that the collaboration between Microgaming and William Hill will prove fruitful for both parties and go from strength to strength.”
