Experts who predicted that Pokerstars would deal its 100 billionth hand of online poker Thursday were right – the historic hand came in at a 2c/5c 6 max No Limit Hold’em table during the evening and the six players at the virtual felt all profited handsomely.
Biggest winner was the Greek player Microulis69 who was actually on the receiving end of the big deal and earned a cool $103,800…and the $31.55 pot; but the other players at the table, branded Euryalos XI, each earned well over $10,000, and here they are:
Another 9,471 players playing the same stakes and game also benefited from the Stake Share promo, in which $830,790.34 was distributed, giving players an average stake share of $84.72.
The site hosted a record-breaking 400,000 or more players simultaneously during the immediate run-up to the big hand.
Lee Jones, PokerStars head of poker communications, said that the 100 Billion Hand celebration began on Saturday and has paid out more than $2 million to Pokerstars players.
