MR. GREEN APPOINTS NEW C.T.O.

Swedish online casino group Mr. Green has announced the immediate appointment of Lars Olafsson as chief technical officer.
 
Olofsson's impressive resume includes 15 years as CTO responsible for IT issues in the management team for the Svenska Spel and Tipstjanst, although more recently he has been involved in several online bingo start-ups.
 
“Lars Olofsson will be a great asset to Mr Green. He has a wide experience from both big companies like Svenska Spel and small startups," Mr.Green managing director Mikael Pawlo said this week. "His hands-on approach, combined with strategic thinking will be crucial in speeding up our development speed and continuing to keep us ahead of the competition."
 
Pawlo said that Olafsson would be ultimately responsible of all things technical within his company, both in research and development as well as maintenance and systems development.
 
“Mr Green has been executed fantastically, but now the company faces new challenges as it grows," said Olafsson. "I hope to be able to help Mr Green to make [a] great impact in the gambling industry through product procurement, [and] alignment of both systems and organization for an ever-changing landscape.”
 
Olafsson will oversee the multi-channel international use of four different softwares from Nyx Interactive, IGT (Wagerworks), Net Entertainment and Betsoft Gaming, all used by Mr.Green.
