Strong 2nd Quarter for Mr Green

Revenues and EBITDA both up at Swedish online gambling firm
 
In its first interim report as a listed company on Sweden's AktieTorget, online gambling company Mr Green AB posted high growth for game win and operating profit in Q2-2013.
 
Game win increased 77 percent year-on-year and totalled SEK 114.6 million. Operating profit also rose substantially, reaching SEK 27.4 million (3.6) for the quarter.
 
Earnings per share achieved SEK 0.51, and active customer numbers rose to 63,635.
 
For the half-year, Mr. Green reported:
 
*  Revenue (game win): SEK 223.5 million (136.0)
*  EBITDA: SEK 52.0 million (loss: 0.8)
• Earnings per share before and after dilution: SEK 1.01, SEK 1.01
 
The company revealed that during the reporting period it had signed an agreement with Bally Games, the first online casino to offer the company’s games online, and has launched a new Live Casino product.
