Netplay 2010 revenue

NetPlay TV, the UK interactive television gambling company, announced its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2010 this week.
 
The company showed an increase in revenue from recurring activities of 7.1 percent to GBP19.8 million (2009: GBP18.5 million) but an EBITDA loss of GBP2.78 million (2009: GBP1.32 million).
 
Casino revenue rose 21.8 percent to GBP17.35 million (2009: GBP14.24 million) whilst bingo EBITDA declined substantially by 49 percent to GBP 330 000 (2009: GBP 650 000)
 
Average active monthly casino players rose 16.2 percent to 9,300 (2009: 8,000) and total new casino customer signups increased 16.8 percent to 66,000 (2009: 56,500).
 
The company confirmed that its corporate restructuring was now completed – with a renewed focus on core live casino business.
 
The company has relocated all gaming operations to Alderney and has seen the successful launch of its SuperCasino iPhone application.
