Player registrations up – especially on mobile and tablets
 
NetPlayTV, the online and interactive television gambling group based in the UK, has published a trading update, reporting a strong Q4 performance and noting that management expects the full year results to be in line with expectations.
 
Highlights include:
 
* 51 percent increase in new depositing casino players to 13,974 (Q4 2011: 9,227) and 17 percent increase on Q3 2012. Mobile and tablets account for 31 percent of all new depositing players, up from 8 percent in Q4 2011 and 25 percent in Q3 2012.
 
* 43 percent increase in active depositing casino players to 25,376 (Q4 2011: 17,783) and 13 percent increase on Q3 2012.
 
* 29 percent increase in revenues vs. Q4 2011.
 
The update notes that: "Mobile and tablet growth has continued to excel and the addition of a suite of mobile slot games in September has significantly improved the customer experience.
 
"The latest TV adverts for both our Supercasino.com and Jackpot247.com brands focus on the ability to play via mobile and tablets and the effect is clearly visible with 31 percent of all new depositing players now signing up via mobile and tablets and 205 percent growth in mobile and tablet revenue versus Q4 2011."
