Nevada and Delaware Sharing Online Poker Players

Wednesday March 25,2015 : SHARED ONLINE PLAYER POOLS LAUNCHED IN NEVADA AND DELAWARE

Player-sharing agreement between US states becomes a reality.

The US states of Nevada and Delaware began sharing their players in an historic online poker development Tuesday after months of interstate negotiations on the project.

Both states have enjoyed legalised online poker for more than a year, and it is hoped that building a larger and wider player pool will boost attraction for players.

Bill Rini, the head of online poker at Caesars-888 operation WSOP.com in Nevada confirmed the soft launch of the network on Tuesday night, to applause from players in each state.

Whilst the achievement is positive, the online poker verticals in the two states have generated underperforming statistics, and it remains to be seen whether the shared pool will bring about significant improvements.
