More Nevada Online Poker License Applications

March 6 and 7 set for hearing by Nevada Gaming Control Board
 
The next applications for online poker licenses in Nevada will be initially be scrutinised March 6 and 7 by the Nevada Gaming Control Board and will involve well-established land and internet companies Treasure Island Casino and 888 Poker  Holdings.
 
Treasure Island wants to offer intrastate online poker on the 888 poker platform, and hopes that following initial approval by the NGCB it will be awarded a licence by the Nevada Gaming Commission at its meeting on March 21.
 
888's other US online poker partner, Caesars Interactive Entertainment, already has a Nevada online poker licence and is well advanced in preparing a WSOP-branded site for the advent of internet poker in the Silver State
