June 2015 Online Gambling Revenues Up In New Jersey

Internet gaming win was $11.7 million – up from $9.5 million in June last year.
 
New Jersey online gambling continued to advance in June 2015, according to the latest numbers from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
 
Internet gaming win was up 22.8 percent at $11.7 million (June 2014: $9.5 million), whilst total gaming win from the land casino hotel resorts was $216.5 million in June 2015, 8.2 percent lower in comparison with the corresponding figure of $236 million in June 2014 (including Discontinued Operators – Atlantic Club, Showboat, Revel, and Trump Plaza). Excluding the discontinued operators the deficit was 5.5 percent.
 
Online poker as a percentage of total Internet gaming win was lower at 15.73 percent (June 2014: 21.20 percent). Online poker revenues in June were down 4.7 percent on the preceding month at $1.84 million (May 2015: $1.93 million).
 
Online casino revenues rose 19.8 percent year-on-year in June numbers to $9.33 million.
 
Over the first half of 2015, overall internet gaming revenues in New Jersey have grown 14.2 percent year-on-year.
 
The Borgata-Party Poker- Pala partnership continued to head the list of best performing online operations in New Jersey with a 29.6 percent market share, but in June 2015 its share of the market dipped by around 2 percent compared to May 2015.
 
Caesar’s Interactive was chasing the partnership in second place with 22 percent of the market, and Tropicana's casino games only operation was at third with 21.9 percent – up 1.9 percent on May this year.
 
The Golden Nugget-BetFair alliance remained at fourth with 21.2 percent, and Resorts online casino increased its share of the market to 3.4 percent.
