NCAAB Odds: Notre Dame Travels to Miami

Wednesday February 3,2016 : NCAAB Odds: Notre Dame Visits Miami in ACC Showdown

The ACC heads into February with a huge matchup on Wednesday in Miami, Florida. The No. 17 Hurricanes were rolling until they ran into North Carolina State on January 30, but they’ll look to get back on track on Wednesday, when they host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Irish are on the outside of the Top 25, but a win on Wednesday would go a long way to changing that.

The Fighting Irish (15-6 SU, 8-10-1 ATS) have won five of their last six with their most recent victory coming from an 85-62 win at home over Wake Forest. Zach Auguste led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds for Notre Dame, who had all five starters in double figures as they shot 51.7% from the field.

The Hurricanes (16-4 SU, 11-7-1 ATS) were manhandled in a 69-85 loss at North Carolina State, shooting just 39.7% from the floor while getting outrebounded 41-23. Sheldon McClellan put up 18 points for Miami, who hit just eight of their 26 three-point attempts.

The two teams have split their last 10 meetings since 1998, with Notre Dame winning three of the last four, and those four games were decided by 10 points or less. The Hurricanes, on the other hand, have won five of seven home meetings with the Fighting Irish.
