Partypoker closes 42 bot accounts throughout May 2019 in latest bot crackdown. $46,805 and €3,598 seized across .com and .eu networks. Partypoker has released details of the latest round of ‘bot’ account closures made across both its global .com and shared liquidity .eu licenses.

42 total accounts were closed in May 2019, with 33 (78.6%) coming from the poker room’s dotcom market and a further nine (21.4%) belonging to its ring-fenced .eu site that serves players from France and Spain.

partypoker seized a subsequent $46,805 and €3,598 in player balances over the month, and the site is currently processing refunds from the entire pool of forfeited balances.

Direct player reports accounted for five of the 33 dotcom closures (15.2%), with three accounts shut on the .eu network also owing to player diligence (33.3%).

The latest monthly closures represent a 55.3% fall on the previous period (vs. 94), reflecting the studious work of the site’s Poker Fraud Team in actively purging the site of bot accounts.
