Record-breaking Partypoker Millions Online kicks off with a bang. 1,574 took a seat for Day 1A. A total of 1,574 players convened to kick off the largest online poker tournament in history as partypoker’s MILLIONS Online got underway on Sunday, 25 November. $7.87m was generated by player buy-ins against the $20m guaranteed across the event – making Day 1A partypoker’s richest ever single flight.

Of the 1,574 who took to the virtual felt, 230 made it through unscathed to seal their passage to Day 2, which gets underway at 19:00 GMT on Tuesday, 4 December.
A host of household names littered the opening field, including partypoker’s very own Phillipp Gruissem who tops the pack with 26.9m in chips. Gruissem’s teammate, MILLIONS Russia winner, Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov will return with 8m in chips, while Joao Simao occupies 164th spot with a 4m stack.
Well known UK maestro Chris Moorman is sitting comfortably in 10th with 15m chips, while, like Anatoly Filatov, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom remains in the hunt for his second MILLIONS title of the year, after taking down MILLIONS Germany in February for €850,000. He lies in 110th place armed with 6.3m.
On a monumental day at the tables, partypoker also celebrated its largest ever day in terms of satellite seats awarded as 263 separate $5,300 entries were dished out, far outstripping the 210 guaranteed seats on offer and equating to $1.3m worth of seats in a single day.
The event now focuses on satellites, with three solid days of Mega Satellites taking centre stage before Day 1B kicks off on Thursday, 29 November at 19:00, the second of five opening flights.
Guaranteeing $20,000,000, MILLIONS Online is the single largest online poker tournament in history. The winner is guaranteed to receive a record-breaking $2,500,000, while the top 4 finishers will all emerge as millionaires.
Days 1A to 1D run from Sunday, 25 November to Monday, 3 December 2018 at 19:00, with a Turbo format 1E flight offering players one last chance to enter on Tuesday, 4 December at 12:00.
