$3.5 million guaranteed prize pool for April tourney
 
Party Poker.com has announced the return of its popular online poker festival – Pokerfest, and it’s putting some big money into the upcoming edition.
 
The company is investing $3.5 million in guaranteed prize pools, and there will be 47 different events starting on 22nd April and running through 6th May 2012.
 
Party Poker has improved on the inaugural running of the series by adding an extra $500,000 to the prize pool as well as the chance to win a $14,000 WSOP 2012 package. Qualifiers starting from as little as a $1 buy-in started this week.
 
The headline $1 million guaranteed main event is scheduled for 6th May.
