Patrik Antonius wins 1.8 million in April 2014

Tuesday May 6,2014 :  ANTONIUS EARNS $1.8 MILLION ONLINE IN A MONTH

Finn is April's biggest winner.

The High Stakes Data Base reports that Finland's Patrik Antonius topped the leader board for nosebleed players on the virtual poker tables during April, earning around $1.8 million.

Despite some recent losses, he is closely pursued by German ace Niki Jedlicka, whilst prominent names like Viktor Blom and Phil Ivey are experiencing a bad spell and are at the opposite end of the spectrum.

33-year-ol Antonius has been active mainly on Full Tilt Poker, besting a host of formidable online opponents as millions of dollars changed hands.

Jedlicka was ahead of the fighting Finn at one point, reaching $2 million during the month, but recent losses badly impacted his record.

Blom, on the other hand, is enduring another of his epic downswings and in April accrued $2 million in losses taking him from the top of the leaderboard for the year to the bottom.

Also bumping along the bottom at present are Chun Lei Zhou (smarostan) Phil Ivey (Polarizing), Crazy Elior and Paul Phua (MalACEsia).

April's online leadboard aces are:

Patrik Antonius, $1,801,075
