Phil Ivey Wins 9th WSOP Bracelet

Not his biggest prize but a worthy milestone nonetheless
Poker professional Phil Ivey has won his ninth World Series of Poker bracelet in Melbourne at the WSOP Asia Pacific event held at the Crown Entertainment Complex.
A three-hour long heads-up in the APAC $2200 Mixed Game event between Ivey and Brandon Wong that lasted 178 hands saw Ivey emerge victorious becoming fourth, tied with Johnny Moss, on the all-time bracelet list.
“It ranks up there. The last [five] final tables I made I didn’t win. I was getting very frustrated, so I was very happy to win this tournament.“This is my favorite place to play," Ivey said shortly after his victory. "I love coming down here, I love the feeling I have when I play here. Great staff, great dealers, and, you know, I love coming here.”
An impressive field included the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Graeme Putt and Kevin Song.
