Generated US$13.4 million in six months.

Vietnam’s Hi-Tech Criminals Prevention division has reported the detention of two local men who allegedly ran a Philippines-registered online gambling operation that has processed US$13.4 million in bets since June 2016.

Ho Chi Minh City residents La Tung Thinh (53) and Lu Vinh Loi (53), were arrested yesterday (Monday).  They face stiff fines and/or a severe prison sentence, Xinhua reports.
