Playstudios in deal with Genting

GENTING DEAL GOOD FOR PLAYSTUDIOS
 
At least 40 Genting venues could order free-to-play online casino apps.
 
Social casino game developer Playstudios has inked an impressive deal with the Genting land and online gambling group that could see myVegas and myKonami free-to-play online casino apps installed at around 40 establishments operated in the UK by the gambling group.
 
The agreement represents an extension of a business relationship between California-based Playstudios and Genting UK that started earlier this year in a deal with Genting UKs Resorts World Birmingham subsidiary, enabling players to accrue virtual rewards redeemable at land-based venues provided these are not gambling-related.
 
Playstudios has enjoyed some success with the model in partnerships with major land operators like MGM.
 
Playstudios exec Jeff Netzer claimed in a statement that the apps are very efficient tools for brand and business building.
