Online gambling software provider scores a notable Dutch commercial coup.
 
With the legalization of online gambling in the Netherlands drawing ever closer, software provider Playtech plc has scored a notable coup in clinching the online gambling contract for the Dutch gambling monopoly Holland Casino after a competitive tendering process.
 
The agreement involves the development of an online gambling platform offering a full range of casino games, which will be offered to Dutch players once the enabling online gambling legalization is implemented and licenses are issued in H1 2015.
 
Willem-Jan van den Dijssel, the acting CEO for the Holland Casino group, said Monday:
