POKER PROS NETWORK TO LEAVE CAKE POKER

Friday August 26,2011 :  Europe a more attractive market than the US under present circumstances

Cake Poker Network operator Poker Pros Network has announced its departure from Cake and the American market.

"In an effort to comply with current US legalization, Poker Pros Network recently adjusted its URL to PPNpoker.eu," a company statement revealed Thursday.

"In addition, PPNpoker.eu will be moved to a proprietary network in the near future."

Effective midnight EST, August 31st, PPNpoker.eu will no longer accept US player registrations, the statement advises. However, current US players, and those that have registered prior to the separation, will be permitted an exemption based on pre-existing agreements with PPNpoker.com and PPNpoker.eu.

PPNpoker.eu executives and staff estimate the unveiling of unique proprietary software will take place in early Fall, with a beta introduction of new features such as live dealers and "dealers' choice" games.

"We here at PPN are dedicated to improving our software, creating a safe environment for players to compete, and encouraging our pros to be available to customers at all stake levels," said owner Chuck Kidd. "It's been a lot of work, but what we're introducing later this year should turn the online poker industry on its head."
