POKER WITH BOB iPHONE APP LAUNCH IMMINENT

Los Angeles-based Scary Robot Productions has announced the release date for their debut iPhone game Poker with Bob, which will become available on the iStore at 99c a download from February 18th.
 
Poker with Bob is a highly animated, interactive 5-card draw poker game which the developer claims has both character and charm.
 
"There are dozens of poker apps out there but what I felt was lacking in the category was character," said Dustin Adair, creator of the new app. "As a professional character animator I wanted to bring some life and personality to the genre through animation. Bob is here to make poker fun again and p*** you off just enough that you really want to clean him out."
 
In the game, Bob is a real time, fully animated 3D character loaded up with several minutes of lip synced animation. He rants and raves when he loses and taunts the player mercilessly when he wins.
 
Game features include five different levels of increasing challenge and higher stakes; one-on-one multiplayer available through Bluetooth; multiple high score tables tracking the player's greatest wins and comebacks; and full tutorials.
