Friday November 8,2013 : TWO MORE ONLINE POKER SITES FOR EQUITY NETWORK

PokerHiro and GearPoker sign up.

The new Equity Poker Network has signed up another two online poker sites in Asian operator PokerHiro and GearPoker.

PokerHiro will provide its players with a gateway to EPN’s online poker ring games, sit n goes, and scheduled tournaments from Friday, November 8th, coinciding with the confirmed launch date of full real-money gaming options across the Network.

A spokesman for EPN said the agreement with the Asian-based business would provide a boost to liquidity, delivering a new realm of online poker players to the Costa Rica-based cooperative network.

EPN’s flagship poker room remains Full Flush Poker.com, with IntegerPoker also on the network.

“Sealing the deal with an Asian-focused online poker room, will expose our unique non-profit business model to the flourishing Asian market, and particularly Asian gaming operators who might be looking for a smarter and more profitable way to enter the online poker industry,” said EPN founder and CEO Clive Archer Thursday.

PokerHiro will retain a level of autonomy in configuring its own tournaments and promotions, and can continue to allocate its comps structure as desired, which includes rewarding players with free tickets to play in some major live events in Asia, such as the popular and prestigious Asian poker tournaments, the APT, APPT, and the Macau Poker Cup.

Welcoming GearPoker to the network, Archer said:

“Partnering with operators that are clearly on the same page as us is important for the longevity of the network, and we’re thrilled to welcome GearPoker to EPN.  As a founding member of our Cooperative, GearPoker brings an ethos of integrity and reliability that sits perfectly with EPN’s own goal of delivering a world-class, entertaining online poker experience to its players that they can trust, and a platform that is dedicated to increased layers of security, improved fraud detection and prevention, and setting the standard for the fastest payouts in the business.”

GearPoker makes the move to EPN from the Chico Poker Network, with its player base able to access their account balances immediately, and to participate in their choice of EPN’s ring games, sit n gos, and scheduled tournaments.
