Pokerstars Approved For Home Games

ARJEL completes system analysis and grants approval
 
The French regulatory body, ARJEL, has granted approval to PokerStars to operate its "Home Games" feature on its Pokerstars.fr domain on condition that participants are registered and approved by the operator.
 
The French online poker room notified its players in March 2011, after launching the feature in February 2011, that ARJEL had temporarily suspended the feature to allow for a system analysis to ensure its compliance with French law.
 
PokerStars Home Games allows users to create private poker parties between members of a poker club or with friends which are fully managed by PokerStars.
 
In related news, ARJEL has given approval to PartyGaming subsidiary, ElectraWorks, to operate the domain wptpoker.fr.  The company already has authorisation to operate wpt.fr
